Before you decide, the questions people always ask
before consultation
It is the base formulation, working on the texture and firmness of the whole face from the ground up. Rather than filling a particular area or targeting scars, it leans towards lifting the overall condition of the skin. If dryness is especially severe, or if thin areas such as under the eyes are your main concern, another formulation may suit you better, so we talk it through at the consultation.
Because the product is placed in many separate injections, we apply a numbing cream before we begin. Even so, a stinging sensation remains, and it feels stronger where the skin is thin. Rejuran Healer itself contains no anaesthetic, so please tell us in advance if pain worries you and we can leave the cream on longer or discuss a different formulation with you.
It is better to skip makeup on the day of the treatment. The tiny injection points need time to close, and if irritation gets in through them, inflammation can follow. From the next day you can usually go back to your normal routine, though strong exfoliants and acids are best left aside for a few more days.
After a completed course it usually carries on for several months, but the difference is considerable depending on age, skin condition and lifestyle. Sun protection, sleep and whether you smoke all affect how long it holds. We decide the timing of maintenance sessions individually, once we have seen how your skin is responding.
With the order planned properly, there are cases where it is possible. However, when strong heat or irritation reaches the injection sites straight away, the risk of swelling and inflammation rises, so we often recommend leaving a few days in between. Let us know in advance which treatments you are planning and we will arrange the sequence for you.
