qd general care
General care at QD Clinic covers gentle, maintenance-style facials — including hydration, soothing, a brightening scrubber and O2 oxygen care — to keep skin comfortable, clean and well-hydrated. In Gangnam, Seoul, we assess your skin first, then combine the steps that suit it. Most sessions take about 30–50 minutes with little to no downtime. (Results vary by individual.)
is this for me
Who it’s for
Even if none of these describes you, we will look again at the consultation.
- Skin that needs regular cleansing, hydration or soothing
- Anyone who wants gentle maintenance between treatments
- Dull-looking skin that would benefit from a brightening refresh
- Those who prefer a relaxing option with little to no downtime
The steps are combined to suit your skin on the day; sensitive skin and any active concerns are reviewed at consultation.
Before you pick a treatment name, start with the cause of your concern.
start with your concern
Even a treatment with the same name takes on a different role and scope depending on your current structure, the change you want, what you have had before and the recovery time you have.
01
Where you are now, and where we start
Which of hydration, soothing, brightening scrubber or oxygen care your skin needs now
02
The change you want, the impression you keep
Rather than changing everything at once, we decide whether texture, pores or tone comes first, and set the order and the goal.
03
How it differs from similar options
We compare how deep a peel, radiofrequency or a care program reaches, and how the irritation and the recovery time differ.
04
Health information and recovery schedule
We check skin conditions and the medication you take, recent treatments and sun exposure, and the dates that matter to you.
the
principle
We check the skin barrier and how your skin is after treatment, then build hydration, soothing and exfoliation care within a range that adds no further irritation.
General care combines cleansing and care steps chosen for your skin. Hydration care replenishes moisture; soothing care calms the look of redness or sensitivity; a brightening scrubber uses gentle ultrasonic vibration to help lift away surface debris for a fresher, more radiant look; and O2 oxygen care adds a cooling, hydrating finish. These are gentle, surface-level steps aimed at comfort and maintenance rather than deep resurfacing.

How it works
01
Cleansing as the base
Each session starts with gentle cleansing, then care steps are chosen for your skin on the day.
02
Hydration and soothing
Hydration care replenishes moisture, while soothing care calms the look of redness or sensitivity at the surface.
03
Ultrasonic scrubber
A brightening scrubber uses gentle ultrasonic vibration to help lift away surface debris, for a fresher, more radiant look.
04
O2 oxygen finish
O2 oxygen care adds a cooling, hydrating finish. These are gentle, surface-level steps aimed at comfort and maintenance rather than deep resurfacing. (Results vary by individual.)
The same treatment, never the same plan.
the qd standard
Rather than a fashionable name or a fixed package, we weigh the structure found at examination, safety, recovery and the limits within one plan.
- 01DIAGNOSIS FIRSTCause before nameWe first separate out the tissue and the function behind your concern.
- 02LESS, PRECISEOnly as much as neededRather than an excessive change, we plan the smallest scope with a clear role.
- 03HONEST LIMITThe limits, explained tooWe explain the change you can expect, the alternatives, individual differences and the risks.

From consultation to follow-up, planned as one flow.

Checking the skin
We first check for inflammation, wounds and infection, the skin barrier, and any recent treatments or medication.
Choosing intensity and area
To match the main concern — pores, scars, flaking or dryness — we set the tip, the depth, the contact time or the stage of care.
Restoring the barrier
We explain moisturizing and sun protection afterwards, how long to keep irritation down, and when to call about an unusual reaction.
What the procedure is like
- Consultation and skin assessment
- Cleansing
- Selected care steps (hydration, soothing, scrubber or oxygen)
- Moisturizing and sun-protection finish

It also pairs well alongside other treatments; timing is advised by your team.

how it compares
How it compares
These are gentle maintenance and skin-care options. They work differently, so the right choice depends on what your skin needs on the day.
| General care | Peel | LDM Regeneration Care | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Approach | Cleansing plus hydration, soothing, scrubber or oxygen steps | Cosmetic acids exfoliate surface cells | Dual-frequency ultrasound micro-massage |
| Targets | Cleansing, hydration and maintenance | Dullness, texture and congestion | Soothing, hydration and gentle renewal |
| Sessions | Repeated regularly as maintenance | A short series, then maintenance | Often repeated as a series |
| Sensation | Gentle and relaxing | Mild tingling or warmth during application | Gentle warmth, generally comfortable |
| Downtime | Little to none | Little; light flaking possible | Little to none |
Neither is “better” — they work differently and suit different goals. The right choice is decided after we assess your skin.
Before you decide, the questions people always ask
before consultation
We look at your skin first, then combine cleansing, exfoliation, soothing and hydration in whatever proportion it needs that day. There is no fixed course to work through from start to finish; steps are added or left out depending on how your barrier is holding up and whether anything is inflamed. We explain what we are doing and why before we begin.
The difference is that we can read your skin and adjust the intensity accordingly. At home it is easy to keep adding one more product because it is said to be good, but when skin is reactive, taking something away can matter more than adding something new. Tell us what you are using at the moment and we will go through what is worth pausing for a while.
Clearing out blocked comedones does help, but forcing out a badly inflamed lesion leaves a scar. So we first judge whether your skin is in a state where extraction makes sense right now. When a spot is better left alone, we will say so and start by settling the inflammation instead.
It depends on your skin and on what we are aiming for. While breakouts keep returning we shorten the interval, and once things settle we space the sessions out. We do not recommend committing to a fixed number of sessions in advance; we decide each time whether another one is actually needed. We will also talk you through what to do at home.
You can come wearing your usual makeup, as we cleanse your skin here before we start. Afterwards it depends on what was done on the day: if we exfoliated, it is better to stay with low-irritation products only. We give you care instructions for the next few days based on exactly what was done in your session.
