before consultation
We do not regard it as a replacement for treatments with established evidence. Origin, manufacturing, storage and regulatory status differ from product to product, so the word 'exosome' on its own tells you nothing about what is actually in the vial. That is why we first confirm in writing which product is being used and what evidence stands behind it, and only then discuss it with you as a supportive option.
Check the exact product name, where it comes from and how it is made, how it has to be stored, and the scope under which it is approved or registered in Korea. Where a clinic cannot explain those four points, you are safer not going ahead there. We go through all of this with you before treatment.
No. Stopping a treatment with established evidence on your own can cost you even the hair you have managed to keep so far. A supportive procedure is something added on top of standard treatment, not something that takes its place. If you are on medication, please stay on it, and we will discuss together whether to combine the two.
Pain and swelling at the injection sites, redness and headache are common. Depending on the ingredients of the product, allergic or inflammatory reactions can occur, so we review your history beforehand. If you develop a fever, redness that spreads, or severe pain, please do not wait and contact us.
Because of the hair growth cycle, it takes several months before a change can be assessed. Judging after only a few weeks easily leads to a conclusion that does not match reality. We take magnified photographs of the scalp at the start and photograph the same spot again later so the two can be compared.
