Before you decide, the questions people always ask

This is not a treatment that fills a scar in a single visit. Rejuran S is a formulation with higher concentration and viscosity that is placed beneath the scar to support the tissue as it repairs, and the aim is for the depression to become shallower over a course of sessions. Scars that are deep and narrow often need other methods used alongside it.
Scars are rarely settled by one method alone, so we do sometimes plan several approaches together. Stacking them on the same day increases irritation, however, so we separate the order and leave intervals between them. Which combination suits you depends on the shape and depth of the scars and on whether any inflammation is still present.
While the inflammation is active, calming the acne comes first. Injecting into inflamed skin can leave more scarring behind. Working on the scars once the skin has settled with treatment gives a better result and is safer. We will look at the condition of your skin as it is now and then decide when to begin.
It depends on how many scars there are and how deep they are, but it rarely finishes in one or two. We carry out several sessions spaced apart and compare photographs along the way to adjust the plan. We will explain the expected number of sessions and the overall timeframe before we start.
Swelling and redness in the first few days can make them stand out more than usual. This usually settles as the swelling goes down, and the real change appears gradually over several sessions.
