is this for me
Who it’s for
Even if none of these describes you, we will look again at the consultation.
- Fine lines and crepey texture under and around the eyes
- Thin skin around the eyes that looks tired or dull
- Those who want to support skin quality around the eyes rather than add volume
- People treating the eye area alongside a full-face booster plan
Whether the under-eye is suitable for Rejuran I, or another approach fits better, is confirmed during consultation.
Before you pick a treatment name, start with the cause of your concern.
start with your concern
Even a treatment with the same name takes on a different role and scope depending on your current structure, the change you want, what you have had before and the recovery time you have.
01
Where you are now, and where we start
The thin skin around the eyes and its fine lines
02
The change you want, the impression you keep
Rather than adding more volume, we decide where to fill and where to leave alone, and the line at which expression stays natural.
03
How it differs from similar options
We compare what filler, Botox and skin boosters each change and what they cannot change, with the alternatives alongside them.
04
Health information and recovery schedule
Beforehand we check blood thinners, immune conditions and allergies, past injectables, possible pregnancy and the dates that matter.
the
principle
Before the product name we match the actual ingredients, the injection layer and your skin concern, then decide the dose, the interval and anything done alongside it.
Rejuran I is formulated with a lower viscosity than the standard formula, made for the thin, delicate skin around the eyes. Polynucleotides (PN) from salmon DNA are placed with fine microinjections under and around the eyes to support the skin’s own repair environment, helping improve fine lines, crepey texture and elasticity over a series of sessions. It focuses on skin quality in the eye area rather than filling volume. (“I” refers to the eye-area formula.)

How it works
01
Lower-viscosity PN for thin skin
Rejuran I uses a lower-viscosity polynucleotide (PN) formula, made to sit comfortably in the thin, delicate skin under and around the eyes.
02
Supporting the skin’s own repair
PN is thought to support the repair environment of the skin around the eyes rather than adding volume, helping with fine lines and crepey texture.
03
Placed with fine microinjections
Very fine microinjections distribute the PN evenly across the under-eye and outer-eye area at a shallow depth.
04
Built over a series
Because it works with the skin’s own processes, changes develop across a series of sessions rather than at once. (Results vary by individual.)
The same treatment, never the same plan.
the qd standard
Rather than a fashionable name or a fixed package, we weigh the structure found at examination, safety, recovery and the limits within one plan.
- 01DIAGNOSIS FIRSTCause before nameWe first separate out the tissue and the function behind your concern.
- 02LESS, PRECISEOnly as much as neededRather than an excessive change, we plan the smallest scope with a clear role.
- 03HONEST LIMITThe limits, explained tooWe explain the change you can expect, the alternatives, individual differences and the risks.

From consultation to follow-up, planned as one flow.

Ingredients and authenticity
We check the product name, the maker, the ingredients, the expiry date and the use approved for that purpose.
Anatomy and expression
We look at where vessels are at risk, at muscle movement, skin thickness and the proportions of the whole face, then set the injection points.
Small amounts, one stage at a time
Allowing for swelling and the early response, we avoid overcorrection and top it up later if that is needed.
What the procedure is like
- Consultation and assessment of the eye area
- Cleansing and numbing cream
- Fine microinjections under and around the eyes
- Cooling, soothing and aftercare guidance
Time: A session takes about 20–30 minutes, including numbing time.
Please read this before treatment
- Little downtime; small raised bumps under the eyes may appear and can take up to about a day to settle in this delicate area.
- Temporary redness, mild swelling, tenderness or minor bruising may occur around the eyes.
- Avoid rubbing the area, saunas and intense exercise briefly, use sun protection, and follow the guidance we provide.
Safety & considerations
Possible reactions
- Small raised bumps at the injection sites, which can take up to about a day to settle in the delicate under-eye area
- Temporary redness, mild swelling or a flushed feeling around the eyes
- Tenderness in the eye area for a short time
- Occasionally minor bruising at injection points
When to take extra care
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding — let us know at consultation
- Active skin infection, inflammation or open lesions around the eyes
- Known allergy or hypersensitivity, including to fish or salmon-derived products
- A history of keloid or difficulty with wound healing
- Recent injectables or energy treatments around the eyes — tell your doctor so timing can be planned
what to expect
What to expect over time
A general guide to how the days and months after treatment usually unfold. Results vary by individual.
DAY 0
Treatment day
Numbing first, then fine microinjections around the eyes. Small raised bumps at the injection sites are common, with mild redness or swelling.
DAY 1-2
Bumps settling
The small bumps usually settle; in the delicate under-eye area this can take up to about a day or a little longer. Minor bruising, if any, starts to fade.
WEEK 1-3
Between sessions
The skin around the eyes may begin to look a little smoother. Sessions are usually spaced 2–4 weeks apart.
1-3 MONTHS
Skin-quality change
Over the course and the following weeks, many people notice finer texture and improved firmness around the eyes. (Results vary by individual.)
AFTER THE COURSE
Review & maintenance
Your doctor reviews the outcome and discusses maintenance timing based on your skin.
Sessions & results
A typical plan is about 3–4 sessions spaced roughly 2–4 weeks apart, with changes developing gradually over the following weeks. Maintenance is considered after a period decided at consultation. (Results vary by individual.)
how it compares
How it compares
These options all address the under-eye, but they use different materials and aims, so the right one depends on whether you want skin-quality support or volume.
| Rejuran I | Juvelook I | Under-eye filler | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Main agent | Polynucleotides (from salmon DNA) | PDLLA microparticles + HA | Hyaluronic-acid filler |
| How it works | Supports the skin’s own repair | Prompts gradual collagen renewal, with hydration | Adds volume to fill the area |
| Often chosen for | Fine lines, crepey under-eye texture | Under-eye skin quality with subtle plumping | Under-eye hollowing or volume loss |
| Sessions | Usually a course of a few | Usually a short course | Often a single placement, refined as needed |
| Downtime | Little; small bumps possible | Little; small papules possible | Little; swelling or bruising possible |
Neither is “better” — they work differently and suit different goals. The right choice is decided after we assess your skin.
Before you decide, the questions people always ask
before consultation
The skin around the eyes is thin and rich in blood vessels, so it calls for more care than other areas of the face. Rejuran I is formulated at a lower viscosity to suit thin skin, and we keep both the injection depth and the treated area deliberately narrow. If you are under any eye-related treatment or have had eye surgery, please let us know beforehand.
The under-eye area carries many small vessels, so bruising is relatively common and can remain for about a week to ten days. Makeup will cover it while the colour fades, but if you have an important occasion coming up it is better to leave yourself some margin. Anticoagulants and circulation medication make bruising more likely, so please tell us in advance if you take them.
Where the skin has thinned and the vessels beneath show through, the shadow can lighten as the skin regains thickness. It does not help when the cause is pigment, or when the shadow comes from under-eye fat and hollowing. We first work out which type you have during the consultation, and then tell you which approach suits it.
Fine lines that come from thin, dry skin texture can improve. Lines that fold when you smile, however, are created by muscle and are a different matter. The two are often mixed together, so we ask you to make a few expressions to see how much of each is involved before we plan the treatment.
Please tell us when it was done, exactly where, and how much was placed. Adding to an area that already has volume can look puffy or leave a visible edge, so we adjust the placement and the amount. If it was some time ago and it is unclear whether any remains, we check the area at the consultation before deciding.
