is this for me

Who it’s for

Even if none of these describes you, we will look again at the consultation.

  • Rough or uneven texture, enlarged-looking pores and dull skin
  • Those who want hydration now and gradual collagen support over time
  • People looking for subtle structure or volume in specific areas (Volume)
  • Under-eye skin quality concerns (Juvelook I)

Which Juvelook type suits you is confirmed during consultation.

Before you pick a treatment name, start with the cause of your concern.

start with your concern

Even a treatment with the same name takes on a different role and scope depending on your current structure, the change you want, what you have had before and the recovery time you have.

  • 01

Where you are now, and where we start

Areas that need hydration and collagen renewal together, and which of Skin, Volume or I fits

  • 02

The change you want, the impression you keep

Rather than adding more volume, we decide where to fill and where to leave alone, and the line at which expression stays natural.

  • 03

How it differs from similar options

We compare what filler, Botox and skin boosters each change and what they cannot change, with the alternatives alongside them.

  • 04

    Health information and recovery schedule

Beforehand we check blood thinners, immune conditions and allergies, past injectables, possible pregnancy and the dates that matter.

the
principle

Before the product name we match the actual ingredients, the injection layer and your skin concern, then decide the dose, the interval and anything done alongside it.

Juvelook pairs PDLLA microparticles with hyaluronic acid. The HA provides immediate hydration and a plumping effect, while the PDLLA microparticles are gradually broken down and are thought to prompt the skin’s own collagen renewal over the following months. The range is tailored by particle size and injection depth: Skin uses finer particles in the upper-to-mid dermis for texture and glow, Volume uses larger particles placed deeper for subtle structure and lift, and I is directed at the delicate under-eye area.

Juvelook

How it works

  • 01

    PDLLA with hyaluronic acid

Juvelook pairs PDLLA (poly-D,L-lactic acid) microparticles with hyaluronic acid, so it works in two ways at once.

  • 02

    Hydration now, collagen over time

The HA hydrates and softly plumps immediately, while the PDLLA microparticles are gradually broken down and are thought to prompt the skin’s own collagen renewal.

  • 03

    Tailored by particle and depth

The type is matched to the goal: finer particles nearer the surface for texture (Skin), larger particles placed deeper for subtle structure (Volume), and a version for the under-eye (I).

  • 04

    Why change is gradual

Collagen-related change follows the skin’s own timeline, so it develops over the months after treatment rather than at once. (Results vary by individual.)

The same treatment, never the same plan.

the qd standard

Rather than a fashionable name or a fixed package, we weigh the structure found at examination, safety, recovery and the limits within one plan.

  • 01DIAGNOSIS FIRSTCause before nameWe first separate out the tissue and the function behind your concern.
  • 02LESS, PRECISEOnly as much as neededRather than an excessive change, we plan the smallest scope with a clear role.
  • 03HONEST LIMITThe limits, explained tooWe explain the change you can expect, the alternatives, individual differences and the risks.

personal plan

Juvelook is an injectable skin booster that combines PDLLA (poly-D,L-lactic acid) microparticles with hyaluronic acid (HA) to hydrate the skin now and support gradual collagen renewal over the following months. At QD Clinic in Gangnam, Seoul, we offer Juvelook Skin, Juvelook Volume and Juvelook I, and choose the type and areas after assessing your skin. A session usually takes about 20–40 minutes including numbing. (Results vary by individual.)

  • Ingredients and authenticity

We check the product name, the maker, the ingredients, the expiry date and the use approved for that purpose.

  • Anatomy and expression

We look at where vessels are at risk, at muscle movement, skin thickness and the proportions of the whole face, then set the injection points.

  • Small amounts, one stage at a time

Allowing for swelling and the early response, we avoid overcorrection and top it up later if that is needed.

What the procedure is like

  1. Consultation and skin assessment
  2. Cleansing and numbing cream
  3. Microinjections at the depth chosen for your goal
  4. Cooling, soothing and aftercare guidance

Time: A session takes about 20–40 minutes, including numbing time.

Please read this before treatment

  • Little downtime; small papules or raised bumps at the injection sites may appear and usually settle within about 1–2 days.
  • Temporary redness, mild swelling, tenderness or minor bruising may occur.
  • Avoid makeup, saunas and intense exercise briefly, use sun protection, and follow the guidance we provide.

Safety & considerations

Possible reactions

  • Small papules or raised bumps at the injection sites, usually settling within about 1–2 days
  • Temporary redness, mild swelling or a flushed feeling
  • Tenderness in the treated area for a short time
  • Occasionally minor bruising at injection points

When to take extra care

  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding — let us know at consultation
  • Active skin infection, inflammation or open lesions in the treatment area
  • Known allergy or hypersensitivity to any component of the product
  • A history of keloid, granuloma formation or difficulty with wound healing
  • Recent injectables or energy treatments in the area — tell your doctor so timing can be planned

what to expect

What to expect over time

A general guide to how the days and months after treatment usually unfold. Results vary by individual.

  1. DAY 0

    Treatment day

Numbing first, then microinjections at the depth chosen for your goal. Small papules or raised bumps may appear, with mild redness or swelling; skin may feel hydrated.

  2. DAY 1-2

    Papules settling

The small papules usually settle within about 1–2 days. Minor bruising, if any, starts to fade.

  3. WEEK 1

    Hydration felt

Many people notice a hydrated, softly plumped feeling early from the hyaluronic acid. This varies between people.

  4. 2-3 MONTHS

    Collagen-related change

Over the sessions and the following weeks, texture, firmness or subtle structure may develop as collagen renews. (Results vary by individual.)

  5. AFTER THE COURSE

    Review & maintenance

Your doctor reviews the outcome and discusses maintenance timing based on your skin.

Sessions & results

A typical plan is about 2–3 sessions spaced roughly 4 weeks apart, with hydration felt early and collagen-related changes developing gradually over 2–3 months. Maintenance is considered after a period decided at consultation. (Results vary by individual.)

These injectable skin boosters all support skin quality, but they use different materials and work in different ways, so they suit different goals.

Before you decide, the questions people always ask

before consultation

  • It sits somewhere between the two. The hyaluronic acid gives hydration and a first hint of volume straight away, while the PDLLA microparticles go on to stimulate your own collagen. Unlike a conventional filler, which is there to shape a contour, Juvelook works closer to encouraging the skin to build thickness of its own.

  • The hyaluronic acid makes the skin look dewy and plumped right after the treatment, but that part is short-lived. The change driven by the PDLLA begins to appear from around four to six weeks and is at its clearest at about two to three months. Rather than judging at the one-month mark, we suggest comparing after two or three months.

  • It is a rare but reported side effect. It takes the form of small lumps you can feel when you touch the area, and it is related to the depth and amount of the injection and to particle size. If something is still palpable several days after the treatment, or if it grows, please do not rub it and contact us instead, as it is easier to deal with when it is checked early.

  • It depends on what is troubling you at the moment. If you want to add thickness to skin that has become thin and lacks resilience, Juvelook is the place to start; if repairing damaged skin comes first, then Rejuran is. The two are sometimes planned one after the other, so we decide which comes first at your consultation.

  • It helps the injected particles spread evenly instead of gathering in one spot. How you do it and for how long both matter, so we give you individual instructions after the treatment. Pressing too hard or for too long turns into irritation instead, so please follow exactly the guidance you are given.
